Končíme v Paříži // The end of our journey in Paris

Na závěr naší italsko-francouzské expedice končíme v samotném centru Paříže. V uších mi zní album od ZAZ Paris a hlavně písnička "J'aime Paris/ I love Paris", která vystihuje naprosto vše. 

// Our very last stop of our french-italian expedition is in Paris. I can hear the music by ZAZ and her album Paris; and mainly her song "J'aime Paris/ I love Paris" which captures the whole current situation perfectly. 

Nejprve vyrážíme k Pont Neuf, kde si kupujeme lístek na Vedettes du Pont Neuf. Odtud potom na Saint Michelle, kde si dáváme oběd. Našli jsme celkem vtipnou restauraci. Máme na tohle celkem kliku. Číšník nám říká, že kuchař na těstoviny tu dneska není (odkdy jsou kuchaři rozdělení?), z předkrmů prý půlku nemají a sám číšník už prý odchází, takže objednávku dokončí někdo jiný. Jako třešnička na dortu je to, že naše dva stolky jsou velké tak na dva talíře, takže to asi budeme držet v ruce. Nakonec se to ale nějak zvládlo a my pokračujeme dál.
// First of all, we are heading to Pont Neuf to buy tickets to Vedettes du Pont Neuf from where we continue to Saint Michelle to grab a lunch there. We found quite a funny restaurant. Why do we always pick such places? The waiter tells us that the cook who does all the pasta from the menu is not here today (since when you have cooks for only one certain food?), they're missing half of the starters and the waiter is going home so the order will be finished by someone else. On top of that, our two tables are the same size as two plates next to each other so we will be probably holding the rest in our hands. But we managed everything in the end. 

Uličkami se pomalu vracíme zpět k Notre-Dame de Paris. Procházíme okolo mé oblíbené kavárny Odette, odkud je ten nejlepší výhled na katedrálu. Naší další zastávkou je další oblíbené místo - Shakespeare & Company. To si nemůžeme dovolit se tu nezastavit, už jen pro ten zážitek!
// We're slowly but surely going back to Notre-Dame de Paris. We are passing around my favourite café called Odette with the best view of the cathedral. Our next stop is another favourite place of mine - the bookshop Shakespeare & Company. It's a must and it always will be!

Děláme si fotku na Kilometre zero u katedrály a sedáme si v jedné typické kavárně v rušné pařížské ulici poblíž. S mamkou si objednáváme large café au lait... když píšu large, tak myslím jako opravdu LARGE. Kafe bylo místo v hrnečku v misce na polévku - bez ucha. To jsme si mohly dát jedno dohromady.
// We're taking a photo standing on the Kilometre zero next to the cathedral. We couldn't miss to grab a coffee and crêpes in one of the busy Parisian streets in the area. I'm ordering a large café au lait with my mum and when I say large, I really mean LARGE. The coffee is not in a regular coffee mug but in a soup bowl. We could order one for both of us instead. 

Kupuji si tu Jeansku na všechny moje turistické nášivky a běžím na poštu poslat dopisy. S lodí vyplouváme v 7.15 večer. Máme výborného průvodce, který je vtipný a oživuje nám všechny zapomenuté informace o okolních pařížských místech. Paříž je stejně krásná! Všude to žije, historie na každém kroku!
// Before we go to the vedette, I'm buying my denim jacket for all my travel badges (yay) and I am running to a post office to send all my letters to my friends. Then we go to Pont Neuf again as we sail out with our sightseeing cruise at 7.15pm. We have an amazing travel guide who is funny and who reminds us of all the history of surrounding Parisian places and buildings. Paris is just beautiful! It's all so busy, lively with all the history in every nook and cranny! 

Malá zajímavost, kterou nám říkal průvodce: kdybychom v Louver stáli 3 sekundy před každým obrazem, tak bychom tam strávili 33 dní. 
// Just an interesting fact which the travel guide told us - if we stayed 3 second in front of every piece of art in Louvre, we would spend there 33 days in total. That's hilarious!

Ségra konečně viděla Paříž, když viděla Eiffelovku (předtím prý nic moc) a já se zase nadechla té pařížské atmosféry, ze které budu ještě chvilku čerpat. 
// My sister has finally seen the real Paris when she saw the Eiffel Tower (she said it wasn't that good before) and I breathed in the Parisian atmosphere to be inspired and feel alive a bit more for the next few days. Paris is always a good idea!

 

Večeři si dáváme nedaleko Louvre a zakončujeme naší franouzskou část jak jinak než pořádnout cibulačkou a le Parisien salad.
// We had a dinner not that far away from Louvre and we round off our french journey with a proper onion soup and le Parisien salad. 

...V peru mi dochází inkoust, v mém cestovním deníku už nejsou další stránky.. asi je opravdu načase, abychom zase jeli domu. 

Vracíme auto, motáme se na letišti mezi těmi samoobslužnými a samoodbavovacími přepážkami a čekáme na letadlo. Navíc mi záhadně vyšla palubní vstupenka stejná jako má někdo jiný, takže pokud nění účel mu sedět na klíně, tak asi někde bude chyba. Nakonec se to všechno vyřešilo a poslední dozvuky Paříže mizí někde v oblacích.

// I'm running out of ink in my pen, my travel diary doesn't have any blank pages left... I guess it's about time to go back home. We're returning the rented car then moving confusedly at the airport between the self check-in kiosk and self-service luggage check-in and waiting for our plane back to the Czech Republic. On top of that, I mysteriously have the same seat as someone else so if the purpose is not to be sitting in somebody's lap then someone made a mistake. Everything was solved quickly and easily in the end and the last after-effects from Paris are disappearing in the clouds above the ground.
