Manolo Blahnik: THE ART OF SHOES

Ever dreamt of having your own hallway with a collection including the nicest sparkling heels featuring a brand like Manolo Blahnik? Now you can at least visit Manolo Blahnik's shoe heaven (literally) in Prague at Museum Kampa where his exhibition The Art of Shoes is presented. But I am sorry to tell you tho, you won't be able to take them home with you. Anyway, you can still cry over the shoes (even several times) if you have time as the exhibition is open until 12th November 2017. So do not miss it all the Carrie Bradshaw/Marie Antoinette/ shoe fans! 

One week in Malaysia

Hi everyone,

I'm so excited to finally share a little video from my trip to Malaysia with you. A huge thank you to Tasha, Talya and the family for having me and letting me explore the area of Kuala Lumpur with them. It was an incredible experience and I had a great time. Forever thankful for amazing trips like this. I hope you enjoyed it with me!

Končíme v Paříži // The end of our journey in Paris

Na závěr naší italsko-francouzské expedice končíme v samotném centru Paříže. V uších mi zní album od ZAZ Paris a hlavně písnička "J'aime Paris/ I love Paris", která vystihuje naprosto vše. 

// Our very last stop of our french-italian expedition is in Paris. I can hear the music by ZAZ and her album Paris; and mainly her song "J'aime Paris/ I love Paris" which captures the whole current situation perfectly. 

Disneyland.

(Malá poznámka: Nečtěte, pokud milujete Disneyland/ N.B. Don't read this if you're a Disneyland lover)

Den D naší cesty je tu. Den na který jsme všichni "čekali". Výlet do Myšákova (jak my říkáme). V hotelu je to samý dinosaurus (tak zase říkáme dětem) a mají všichni do jednoho namířeno na jedno a to samé místo. Ano, mluvím o Disneylandu. Jedeme sem vlastně kvůli ségře, která chvilkami vypadá, že se z nás těší úplně nejmíň. Ale hlavně sem taky jedeme pro ten vtipný zážitek, protože kdo nebyl v Paříži v Disneylandu, jakoby nebyl?!

// The main part of our journey is here! The moment everyone has been waiting for. We're about to visit the Mouseland (that's how we call it in our family). There's lots of little dinosaurs (that's how we call the kids) in the hotel we're staying at and I can tell you that 99.9% of the hotel guests are here for one simple reason. Yes, I'm talking about Disneyland. We're going to Disneyland more or less for my sister who seems least excited; a bit ironic. But we're mainly visiting the place just for the funny experience, because, is it even acceptable not to visit Disneyland? 

Bylo Nebylo // Once Upon a Time

1. Začíná naše expedice podél řeky Loiry a okolních zámcích. První zámek, který navštěvujeme je ten, co je nám nejblíž - Château d'Amboise. Městečko, ve kterém se nachází je hrozně malebné a trochu mi připomíná Anglický venkov. Procházíme si zahrady, které jsou úchvatné. Všechno je precizně sestříhané a po zahradách jsou rozmístěny obrazové rámy vždycky u nějakého zajímavého výhledu. Skvělý nápad! Zajímavostí tohoto místa je, že to bylo poslední místo odpočinku Leonarda da Vinci. Má tu svou hrobku, která tvoří dominantu tohoto zámku.

// Our fairytale journey is about to begin. We are planning to visit few castles in the Loire Valley. We begin with Château d'Amboise which is the closest to us. The castle is located in a town which is so picturesque and it reminds me of the English countryside. We walked a little in the gardens which are breathtaking. Everything is neatly trimmed and couple picture frames are set up around the garden to help tourists put the certain view in focus. That’s such a good idea! One interesting thing about this place is that it was the final resting place of Leonardo da Vinci. He has his own tomb in the gardens which makes the castle a prominent and important landmark.

Nejlepší vinárna v Bordeaux // The Best Wineshop in Bordeaux

Ano, sotva se ohřejeme, hned zase jedeme. Dnes máme cestu přes Bordeaux, tak se tam zastavíme na oběd… a na víno. Našla jsem tam totiž jednu úchvatnou vinárnu. 

// Time to travel again after our short stay in Arcachon. Bordeaux is directly on our way so our plan is to stop there for a lunch… and for a wine. The thing is that I found a breathtaking wineshop there so we definitely need to stop by. 

Mimořádný Přírodní Úkaz / An Exceptional Natural Phenomenon

Arcachon i jeho okolí pro mě bylo úplně neznámé místo. O to více mě pak ale překvapilo. V městečku je to jen samý rezort, ale o město tu nejde. Jde tu o přírodní úkaz, který se nachází kousek odsud. Tušíte, co mám na mysli? 

// I didn’t know Arcachon and the area around at all but it really surprised me a lot! The town is rather a holiday resort but that’s not important here. The main tourist attraction is located nearby. Can you guess the place?
