I really don't know how's that even possible that I haven't visited this place before. Even though I always told myself I really have to go there (since like autumn I guess, ups, haha), but I ended up in Central most of the time as you could have seen in my previous blog posts and videos from London. Anyway, time for a change, I finally managed to go there and I must say that I literally loved it! Notting Hill is such a lovely place! And I’m glad that the weather was nice that day so I really enjoyed walking around all these cute colourful houses.
It was not my last visit most definitely as I really need to visit the Portobello market again, but earlier, because I went there quite late and there was not much left, how sad. But I visited such a cute bakery called Gail's bread and I most definitely have to go there again. First of all, they have a point for perfect flat white, but mainly for the small delicious cute pistachio-apricot-rose cake.
P.S. For those of you who have never seen the film Notting Hill with Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts, I picked up the quote from the film and put it as a blog post title. I just want to make things clear so there’s no misunderstanding.

// Opravdu nevím, jak je to vůbec možné, že jsem tohle místo doposud nenavštívila! Říkala jsem si to snad už od října, že sem musím zajet, ale pokaždé jsem skončila v centru, jak jste mohli vidět skoro ve všech mým předchozích článcích. Nicméně se mi tedy po zkouškách a všech oslavách konečně podařilo na tohle místo zajet. Notting Hill je bezpochyby jedno z těch nejroztomilejších míst v Londýně, které rozhodně stojí za návštěvu. Navíc vyšlo krásné počasí, za což jsem byla opravdu ráda, protože jsem si to místo mohla užít o to víc!
Rozhodně to nebyla moje poslední návštěva! Musím sem zajet znovu, ale o něco dřív, protože chci stihnout Portobello Market. Byla jsem tam totiž už později a všechno už uklízeli. Každopádně jsem cestou zašla do jedné roztomilé pekárny (Gail’s bread) a sem musím také znovu! Mají plusový bod za výborné flat white, ale hlavně za ten malý roztomilý pistáciovo-meruňkový dortík s růžemi.
